Placed an order for a set of Ebony/Pink ivory 9/16 plugs on May 3rd. After not hearing back from Evolve with updates or shipping information I e-mailed their support team on May 17th to ask for a status update. Got this lovely little e-mail back:
“Hello Elizabeth,
Your plugs are still in production. Our carver had to cover some piercing
shifts. So things are taking a little longer than usual. I sent you an email on
Friday sort of regarding this. They should be done within the next couple days. I will send another email with a tracking number when they are shipped! Thanks for being
patient!

I never received an e-mail from them stating they were taking longer than expected but okay I’ll wait. It’s only a few more days, right? Today, May 31st, after not receiving a shipping confirmation I e-mailed their support team AGAIN asking for YET ANOTHER status update.
“Hello Elizabeth,
Your order was one of the orders our carver was going to finish before he
went out on the road for the next month. Unfortunately he left before he
could complete your order. He’s out on the road for the next month and can
finish your order when he gets back if you are willing to wait or we can
refund you for now and you can order again when he gets back in the next
month.
We’re really sorry for the inconvienence.
-Elizabeth”
I took the refund. I’ll stick to Omerica in the future for my wood plug needs as I ordered a custom set from them in the past that shipped within the week and they kept me informed the whole time. Not this two month waiting around crap.
